Prepare a Healthy Salad Bar
Preparing all of your favorite vegetables, beans, and condiments ahead of time will not only save you time in the long run, it will also help keep you on track when it comes to healthy eating.
Have fun with this and get creative. This is also a good time to use up leftovers. Here are just a few more suggestions to help round out a nutritious salad bar:
Roasted or steamed potatoes or other starchy vegetables, tofu, green onions, red onion, beets, zucchini, corn, black beans, lentils, grains, steamed vegetables, roasted vegetables, herbs and spices, coconut bacon (recipe in side bar) . . . the list goes on!
