Crab Cakes with Hot Sauce

Jacques had never had crab cakes until he came to the United States, but now enjoys them whenever he can, calling them “one of the glories of New England.” They are not economical, as good-quality lump crabmeat is very expensive. You’ll learn to make fresh breadcrumbs and bind them with just a few ingredients to form tender, golden-brown patties served with a tangy horseradish sauce.
